Michael Knights is Director of Horizon Property Alliance, and Horizon SDA Care and has been working in the property development and real estate industry for over 30 years, developing, selling and managing property of all kinds.  

Michael Knights is the Director of Horizon SDA care, he is a Licensed Agent and approved NDIS SDA Provider. Horizon Property Alliance develops specialist disability accommodation and community housing projects, and the SDA Provider is Horizon SDA Care, who manages SDA participants in SDA Homes.  

Michael Knights and his team surround themselves with NDIS experts in their field. As an SDA Provider and SDA Developer Michael Knights engages local Engineers, Town Planners, Surveyors, Builders and qualified SDA certifiers and all specialists involved in the SDA construction industry to ensure all Horizon SDA homes are built to the highest SDA Certification.  

Having delivered well over 100 boutique SDA developments all over Queensland from duplex projects, disability accommodation, unit complexes, housing, SDA housing and housing commission and community housing projects, Michael has a long-standing history of successfully developing and managing SDA housing in Queensland.  

As the director of Horizon SDA Care Michael is always adapting to the NDIS and its changing environment, to ensure all the SDA homes Horizon SDA Care manage are well kept and fully compliant.  

Horizon always allows participants to have full choice and control of where they want to live who they want to live and the carer of their choice.     

Ben Guillemet is our Marketing specialist and Administration Manager. Ben brings with him over 20 years’ experience in the real estate industry.

Ben was at one time, the youngest practicing licensee in charge of a real estate office in Australia, at just 21 years old. He went on to take that agency to number 1 in the region for sales, and customer satisfaction, in the process winning multiple “agent of the year” awards from Rate my Agent, and Open Agent.

As his children began to grow, Ben realised that working every weekend and public holiday wasn’t the work -life balance he was ultimately striving for, so Ben decided to make the switch into a more Monday – Friday role within the industry he was passionate about.

The opportunity to work with Horizon Property Alliance and Horizon SDA Care, to create suitable housing for people with disability was a no brainer for Ben. Having seen first hand the trouble that people with disability have finding suitable housing, and with one of his best friends having Cerebral Palsy, Ben jumped at the opportunity to help people with disability find independence in suitable housing, whilst helping investors obtain wealth and prosperity through property – at the same time, giving Ben the opportunity to spend time with his children and watch their weekend sports.
